60 Bytes Kids is an educational video app that teaches science to children through short, engaging 60-second videos. With 5,000+ videos covering topics from space and biology to chemistry and earth science, kids learn something new with every swipe.

How many free videos can I watch?

Free users can watch up to 20 videos per day. The daily limit resets at midnight. Premium subscribers can watch up to 100 videos per day.

Do I need to create an account?

No! 60 Bytes Kids works immediately after download. No account, login, or signup required. Just open the app and start learning.

What does Premium include?

Premium unlocks: 100 videos per day (5x more), ability to save/heart favorite videos, browse by categories, early access to new videos, and an ad-free experience (the free tier is also ad-free).

How much does Premium cost?

Premium is available as a Monthly plan ($4.99/month) or a Yearly plan ($14.99/year - best value, save over 75%). Both plans include a Family Sharing option for up to 6 family members.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to iPhone Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions > 60 Bytes Kids > Cancel Subscription. You'll continue to have Premium access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Open the app, tap the crown icon, then tap "Restore Purchase" at the bottom of the Premium screen. Your subscription will be restored automatically using your Apple ID.

How do I save a video?

Tap the heart icon on the right side of any video, or double-tap the video. Saved videos can be accessed from the bookmark icon in the top bar. (Saving is a Premium feature.)

How do I browse by category?

Tap the grid icon in the top bar to open Categories. You can browse by main category (like "Space" or "Biology") or drill down into subcategories.

Will the app remember where I left off?

The app gives you a fresh, randomly shuffled set of videos each time you open it, so there's always something new to discover. Your daily watch count and saved videos are preserved.

Is this app safe for children?

Absolutely. 60 Bytes Kids is COPPA-compliant. We collect zero personal data, show no advertisements, and use no third-party tracking or analytics. All content is educational, age-appropriate, and curated for children.

What data does the app collect?

None. We do not collect any personal information. All preferences (saved videos, watch progress) are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

Does the app contain ads?

No. 60 Bytes Kids is completely ad-free for both free and premium users. We will never show advertisements to children.

Videos are not loading. What should I do?

Check your internet connection. Videos are streamed and require an active Wi-Fi or cellular connection. Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app.

I purchased Premium but it's not showing.

Try tapping the crown icon and then "Restore Purchase". If that doesn't work, make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID that was used for the purchase. Contact us if you still need help.
